MORE TO SEE IN

ZUMBROTA

Zumbrota COVERED BRIDGE

Zumbrota Area Arts Council

Great art and music and writing and theater can happen anywhere, even in a small community like Zumbrota and the surrounding area. Come visit. We guarantee you’ll be surprised.

Goodhue Pioneer Trail

This trail passes through a scenic mix of tall grass prairies, maple and basswood forests, and oak savanna. Deer, fox, wild turkeys, beavers, partridge, pheasant, and opossum can often be seen from the trail. Bald eagles nest along the Mississippi River and can be spotted just about year-round.

Zumbrota's Historic Downtown

is more than a shopping hub selling quality merchandise. It’s home of Minnesota’s only authentic covered bridge, historic State Theatre, History Center, former Carnegie Library (Crossings), First Congregational United Church of Christ which is on the National Register of Historic Places, “Heritage of Promise” sculpture by Jeff Barber, Public Library and former Zumbrota Armory (now an apartment building). Professional services are downtown, as well.

ZUMBROTA AREA HISTORY CENTER

The mission of this organization is to collect, preserve, and interpret knowledge about the history of the Zumbrota area, and to relate that history to the State of Minnesota.
